My short story was ripped off, now what?

You can't claim a script idea, only the words you wrote. I can't judge from your claims, but now you know why members of writers guilds can register their scripts to have a basis for complaints. One defense they might offer is five other scripts with other animals/monsters/etc. submitted like yours.
